Visit K-POP Agency Buildings in Seoul: HYBE, SM, JYP, YG + Nearest Lockers
Complete visitor guide to the four major K-POP entertainment company buildings in Seoul with transportation, tips, and nearby luggage storage.
Visit the Big 4 K-POP Agency Buildings in Seoul
For K-POP fans visiting Seoul, seeing the headquarters of HYBE, SM, JYP, and YG is a bucket-list experience. This guide covers all four with practical info on getting there, what to see, and where to store your luggage.
1. HYBE — BTS, SEVENTEEN, TXT, LE SSERAFIM, ENHYPEN
- Address: 42 Hangang-daero, Yongsan-gu, Seoul
- Station: Yongsan Station (Line 1) — 5-minute walk from Exit 3
- See: Building exterior photo spot only. There is no public exhibition — HYBE Insight closed permanently in January 2023, and the headquarters is a working office with no tour or ticket.
Luggage Storage
| Option | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Yongsan Station Lockers (B1) | ₩2,000–₩5,000 / 4hrs | ~80 lockers |
| Private Storage (Exit 1) | ₩5,000–₩8,000 / day | Oversized bags OK |
| Zimcary app partners | ₩4,000–₩7,000 / day | Reserve online |
Tips: The whole building is staff-only, so budget about 30 minutes for photos outside. Check HYBE's official channels before you go — fan-letter collection and pop-up shops move around and are not permanent fixtures.
2. SM Entertainment — aespa, NCT, Red Velvet, EXO, SHINee
- Address: Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. Guides that still list Cheongdam-dong or Samseong-ro are out of date.
- Station: Seongsu-dong is served by Seongsu and Ttukseom stations (Line 2). Check Naver Map or KakaoMap for the closest exit before you set out.
- See: Building exterior. Seongsu's cafe district is right there, and SM Town Coex Artium (Samseong Station) is a separate stop in Gangnam.
Luggage Storage
| Option | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Seongsu / Ttukseom Station lockers (Line 2) | ₩2,000–₩4,000 / 4hrs | Standard Metro rates; count varies |
| COEX Mall Storage (B1) | ₩3,000–₩5,000 / day | Only if you add SM Town Artium |
| Seoul Station lockers | ₩2,000–₩5,000 / 4hrs | 350+, best all-day backup |
Tips: SM Town Coex Artium (Samseong Station, Gangnam) still has the largest official SM merch selection, but it is a separate trip from the Seongsu headquarters — budget the transfer time.
3. JYP Entertainment — Stray Kids, ITZY, NMIXX, 2PM
- Address: 205 Gangdong-daero, Seongnae-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul (relocated from Cheongdam-dong in 2018)
- Station: Check Naver Map or KakaoMap — Cheongdam and Apgujeong stations are roughly 7 km from the current building and are the single most common mistake in older fan guides.
- See: Building exterior (photo spot). Working office — assume no public interior access.
Luggage Storage
| Option | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Hotel / accommodation | Usually free | Simplest for a Gangdong detour |
| Seoul Station lockers | ₩2,000–₩5,000 / 4hrs | 350+, leave bags before heading east |
| Gangdong-gu drop-off | Varies | Search this site for what is currently open nearby |
Tips: Do not plan Cheongdam lockers for a JYP visit. JYP (east, Gangdong-gu) and SM (north-east, Seongsu-dong) are no longer walking distance from each other — treat them as two separate subway stops.
4. YG Entertainment — BLACKPINK, TREASURE, BABYMONSTER
- Address: Hapjeong-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The Hwagok-ro / Gangseo-gu address in older guides is wrong — that is a different district about 8 km west.
- Station: Hapjeong Station (Line 2/6) — about a 10-minute walk
- See: Building exterior and YG logo sign
Luggage Storage
| Option | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Hapjeong Station Lockers | ₩2,000–₩4,000 / 4hrs | Standard Metro rates; count varies |
| Hongdae Private Storage | ₩5,000–₩8,000 / day | Combine with Hongdae visit |
Tips: Quick visit (15–30 min), best combined with Hongdae and the Hapjeong cafe streets one stop away.
All-Four Tour — Optimal Route
| Order | Agency | Area | Est. Travel |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | HYBE | Yongsan-gu | Start 9:00 AM |
| 2 | SM | Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu | ~30 min from Yongsan |
| 3 | JYP | Seongnae-dong, Gangdong-gu | ~40 min east from Seongsu |
| 4 | YG | Hapjeong-dong, Mapo-gu | ~60 min back west |
Total: a full day, not 6–7 hours. The four buildings are spread across Seoul — Yongsan (centre), Seongsu (north-east), Gangdong (far east) and Hapjeong (west), with roughly 20 km between the last two. Splitting the tour over two days (HYBE + YG in the west, SM + JYP in the east) is far less painful. Store luggage at Seoul Station or Yongsan Station for the day.
Budget
| Item | Cost |
|---|---|
| Transit (full day) | ₩8,000–₩12,000 |
| Luggage storage | ₩5,000–₩10,000 |
| Meals (2x) | ₩20,000–₩30,000 |
| Total | ₩33,000–₩52,000 (~$24–$38 USD) |
All four buildings are free to look at from the outside — none of them sells an admission ticket.
Plan your storage, wear comfortable shoes, bring your camera — visiting all four K-POP agencies in Seoul makes for an incredible fan day.
